In a strategic move to widen its footprint across Nigeria, The Place Restaurant, one of the country’s leading Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), has expanded its presence in Abuja with a new outlet in the Central Business District (CBD).
The new restaurant, which opened its doors to customers on Monday, 28th November, is located at the newly constructed Tropic Galleria Mall, next to the renowned Grand Square. This addition marks the company’s third outlet in Abuja and its 25th outlet nationwide, demonstrating significant growth and a commitment to bringing quality meals closer to customers.
During the launch, Chief Operations Officer (COO), Chinelo Umeugochukwu, expressed the company’s dedication to putting customers at the heart of its operations. “At The Place, we are a customer-oriented restaurant, and our mission revolves around meeting the needs and preferences of our customers. Every decision we make is aimed at providing the best service and creating an experience that our customers will cherish,” she said.
Chinelo highlighted that as part of the company’s expansion goals for the year, this new outlet will cater to the growing demand for healthy meals in Abuja. “We are excited to bring a variety of healthy meals to our customers in the CBD area, and we deeply appreciate the loyalty of our customers who have supported us throughout the years,” she added.
Also speaking at the event, Head of Marketing, Susan Izenegu, shared her excitement over the opening, noting that the new outlet brings The Place’s total number of outlets in Abuja to three. “This marks a major milestone for us as we celebrate our 25th outlet in Nigeria. This expansion reflects the dedication and hard work that has been put into delivering top-notch service and high-quality meals to our customers for over 15 years,” she remarked.
Susan also hinted at future plans for further expansion, revealing that The Place is set to open a new outlet on Freedom Way, Lekki, Lagos, on Monday, 19th December 2022, as part of the restaurant’s ongoing mission to make homemade meals available at affordable prices.
