Abuja is set to host one of the most vibrant trade expos of the year as the highly anticipated Women in Business (WIB) Market Fair opens its gates from November 1st to 3rd at the Old Parade Ground, Garki, running daily from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Organized by Okads Seafood, the WIB Market Fair is poised to bring together hundreds of vendors and thousands of shoppers in what promises to be a dynamic blend of commerce, community, and culture. With headline sponsors such as MTN, Amstel, Bolt, Aquafina Water, and Pay Ass, the fair is positioned to deliver a truly engaging and unforgettable shopping experience, complete with exciting side attractions.
Ebiere Empere, CEO of Okads Seafood and convener of the WIB Fair, shared that over 100 female-owned businesses will receive full waivers on the standard N150,000 space fee—an initiative designed to remove financial barriers and empower more women to grow their enterprises.

“We want to redefine the trade fair experience and eliminate the barriers that have long held women back,” Empere stated. “Offering free vendor spaces to 100 women is our way of ensuring inclusivity and fostering real business growth. We don’t want to leave anyone behind.”
More than 200 exhibitors will be present, offering a broad range of products at wallet-friendly prices—perfectly timed ahead of the usual Christmas price surge. Beyond the diverse shopping opportunities, visitors can expect an array of entertainment, a special parent-and-child shopping zone, and other family-friendly activities, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Empere added that the WIB Fair is not just a marketplace, but a platform for empowerment, networking, and celebration of female entrepreneurship.
“This is more than a trade experience—it’s about fun, connection, and creating real economic opportunities for women,” she explained.
As anticipation builds, interested vendors are urged to reserve their spaces promptly. With its unique blend of value, visibility, and vibrancy, the WIB Market Fair is shaping up to be Abuja’s biggest trade expo of the season.
